Well these video's came up on the playstation.blog today in regards to the new firmware patch coming out. Also of note with the second video the release date for the firmware was also announced as July the 2nd, so this wednesday you can grab it from the PSN.

So far two videos have come out, its basically one of the guys from Sony walking through the features (most of which we already know) but now you can see it in nicer quality and explained exactly what each part is. The second one is the one that details trophies so its a little more interesting. Click on Read More below to see the video's.

Well this weeks episode is a double, still filler crap though but at least we get some fight scenes even if they are horrible and badly animated. Well another week another new episode of Code Geass, no idea what happens in this one as I have had no time to watch it yet, but from the previews flying around it looks promising.

Wow I'm slow on getting these up, well they are here finally at least. Nothing big out of the episodes though just the filler crap story. It is very very predictable and the new characters are highly annoying, the only good new character is the captain and that is just barely.

Well here is something nice, a 10 minute walk through of Home for the PS3. The build seen is 0.8.6 which is currently the newest, also featured in the video is a look at the environments that ubisoft had setup for their ubiday recently.

Also of interest in the video is the size of some of the areas... Home looks damn nice but those sizes for the video rooms looks painful.

Well I'm a bit slow in posting this but I'll put together the most recent information to make it a bit easier for those who may not have heard about it.

Simply put the PS3 is going to firmware 2.4 soon, what does this mean? Well all current rumours and signs point to it being in game XMB (cross media bar) and trophies (basically achievements listing). How do we know this? Well first off there were plenty of rumours from different sources to many online websites, this got further proven with the release of some youtube videos (click read more to view) which were taken from a 2.4 firmware ps3 used for developers to add trophies for their games.

What else is being said is that in game music that you select from the media bar will also be featured, though not universally over all games, only those which the dev's release a patch for.

In terms of release dates, current rumours and supposed confirmations point for it coming out on June the 18th, so not too far away.
